I am trying to install my wifi card.

Ive already successfully done this in Xubuntu but have now decided to use Debian (cos Debian with gnome is quicker than xubuntu!)

I need to install ndiswrapper common and utils. I installed them using the synaptic installer because they were in the list but I then because linux cant find the ndiswarpper module I cant progress any further with the install. (its the command modprobe ndiswrapper which returns that ndiswrapper module isnt found)
I dont know what ndiswrapper is but it does seem to have "installed" the windows driver I need to get my wifi card working.

So I decided to do it the way I know works and install them using two .deb packages.
Ndiswrapper utils fails install because "error: dependency is not satifiable: libc6"

Libc6 is installed, and it is the latest version.

Hopefully someone here will be able to say " open ***, click on *** and press the red button" and all will work for me!

I really dont want to use ubuntu now, debian is what it is based on and its quicker. Original is best imo!

Don't try to install Ubuntu debs on Debian if you can help it. Ubuntu debs are often built against unstable versions of GCC and other critical files, so Debian may or may not be compatible. Instead, simply use your debian repositories.
