lightbox clone not working

i got this javascript from artviper, but i can't get it to work:

its working fine here! what error do you get?

i took it out and used the actual lightbox and that works, when i used the one from artviper, the background disappears and you have to refresh the page to get the page up again, andthe clone only works in FF.
