    Does this help? Ubuntu:Feisty -

I had a quick look, but i haven't found anything to suggest you can use the windows rdesktop client to control a linux machine (yet, anyway)

Do you know how it's done using VNC? Most of the tutorials are for Ubuntu using the GUI tools, but I need a tutorial for Kubuntu.

KRFB is included in Kubuntu by default, but it's not quite what I am looking for. It works more like Remote Assitance, rather then Remote Desktop.

What I am really looking for is this: To install a VNC server in Kubuntu which I can configure via the terminal. I am not too worried about security because I won't be using VNC over the internet. I only plan to use it behind the firewall.

I then need to install a VNC client (which one?) on Windows which I can use to connect to Kubuntu.

    Thanks
