Who do you want lock the control panel from?

You could assign 'Limited User' accounts to all of the computer users. Just have one administrator account for the odd bit of software/hardware maintenance

the easiest way is (as suggested by mega) assign different users different user accounts and have your account as administrator

Well for increased security, benz should use a Limited User account as well for all of his daily tasks.

You mean when he is on net. Right? Otherwise, there are so many programs which you have installed in admin rights and you wont be able to acess in guest mode. like Winamp!

In which case, just use the 'Run As' command. Check out my Windows XP Security Guide (link in my sig) for more info. I've updated it, but it's not finished yet

It doesnt work~! In my house there are are so many people who use my computer, most of them internet and songs. Internet is ok in any other account but when it comes to songs they are paranoid to Winamp. They dont know how to use any other player so easily for music. Thats why I have to stick with Winamp and it gives an error if I use it in another mode.
