Hello, I have got a cyber cafe which is maintained by a simple cyber cafe software. this software has a drawback. if somebody unplugs the lan cable from client machine, the software asks for termination of client module without admin password. when the module gets terminated if one puts the lan cable back in place the computer works perfectly without any accounting of the same (which I dont want).I am not able to change the software so i want a way out. I want such a software which can lock my pc when lan gets unplugged, thus computer should only work when lan is connected, even shutting down the pc is ok if no locking is done thus preventing unauthorised access to computer. please help thank you
[ot] Ive seen lan cables glued into sockets with (i'm guessing) a glue-gun, this could be a simple workaround? [/ot]
