I am looking at purchasing a Intel Core i7 930 2.88GHz (LGA1366) and am wanting some sugestions on a motherboard to use. I am wanting to use BitLocker in Windows 7 Ultimate and would like a motherboard that supports TPM. The problem is all the newer motherboards i've looked at don't support it. I have been looking at the Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD4P but it doesn't have USB3 and SATA3 support (I would like these for future use). All the other Gigabyte Intel Socket 1366 motherboards don't appear to support TPM. All the Intel Socket 1156 motherboards from Gigabyte support TPM. I was considering getting the Intel Core i7 860 2.8GHz (LGA1156) instead so I could get one of these motherboards. Is there a reason why the latest motherboards would not support TPM? Are there any other motherboards you could suggest?
