    Hi guys,

I have a home server running Windows 7 x64. Over time I notice sometimes files can silently corrupt themselves. These include distortions in audio files, skips in video, and partially blanked-out or unreadable images.

Recently an important photo from a long time ago was lost due to this, so I'm trying to prevent any further such event.

Microsoft's FCIV only works on per-file basis, more suited for checking downloads and not keeping a database of file integrity hashes. Can someone recommend a program that will do this please?

Are you sure you don't have a memory or hard drive issue?
