hi, the problem ive got is that i have lost some memory speed. When the bios registers ram it states it is 667mhz when it should be 800mhz. My original setup was same as it is now but it was 2gb ddr2 6400 800mhz on a single channel. Ive now bought a ram upgrade to 4gb dual channel. Both memory sticks are the same speed (6400 800mhz) and are both 2gig. When i put the new ram in, the bios says 4096mb ram dual channel ddr2 667mhz, when it should be ddr2 800mhz.

    Thanks in advance, Stef.

just oc them to 400 fsb. my corsairs are defaulted at 800mhz and to get the stock spd i oc them to 1066. they are rated to handle the oc'ing. also u must increase the voltage that they r rated for.
