    Hi guys,

I have an older Intel D815EGEW motherboard that I'm trying to resurrect as a file server. It's hard drive crashed and I don't have the driver disk that came with the machine. I installed Windows 98 and found that the drivers at Intel, won't work. I get a whole series of missing driver files when installing and then of course, I get yellow marks by all the devices. I mostly need the driver for the built in ethernet adapter. Oh by the way, Knopix and Ubuntu find the integrated ethernet with no problem.

Any ideas where a person could find an older driver like this?

    Thanks,
    Mike

    Found a disk...

I went to Intel originally and what they had didn't work. I got a hold of an old friend who had the same driver disk. So it's fixed!

It is a nightmare trying to repair a machine without those oem driver disks. I wish there was a better way..

    Thanks for your response!
    Mike
