Hello, I would like to turn to this great community for some advice which I greatly appreciate :)

So I am trying to build a nice looking yet very affordable pc for my uncle so I came up with this build after few days of looking and need to know if its decent and just to be sure, as I am far from pro at building rigs.

So this build is purely for Internet, word, media stuff... So no gaming in mind. :)

    CPU http://www.4launch.nl/shop/#p-4-productid-088336

I wondering if DVD roms are still a standard must since I dont really use mine.

    It totals at around 300euro

Would love to hear what you think and advice appreciated.

It looks fine for the task you want it to do. If you have a dvd drive you could use to install the OS, or some other way to install it, you could probably live without one beyond that point.

you dont need a whole lot to be able to do what you're planning for it to do, which is: "Internet, word, media stuff..."
you might not even need 4GB of RAM just for those purposes, maybe 2GB might be enough? maybe you can spend less money on that part... imo

i dont often use my DVDROM, but its always nice to just have one, just incase you need it for anything.
i have a blu-ray drive and a dvd burner on mine, just for compatibility and for anything else that comes up in the future.

everything else seems fine! nice job :)

Indeed,You do not need such specs for the things you wanna do with your system.
Try cutting down on the RAM maybe?
