i just saw one of those mac and pc commercials and i was just wondering is a mac really better for multimedia or is that just a marketing thing. And if they are better why.
Macs generally have a lot of good video editing software available which made them good for that purpose. In my old school CLC, for video editing Macs were the primary workstations for video work. I doubt they have anything which can't be done on a PC though.
It's kind of irrelevant now concidering Macs are consist of hardware you can build or buy your PC with, for cheaper... But as Addis said there's some exclusive software that makes Macs a big player in the multimedia field. Shake and Final Cut Pro I belive are Mac only and get rave reviews.
yeah thats what i figured. The commercials are cool but i was thinking well they don't really have exclusive hardware anymore, and secondly i didn't think they had any software that was anything ground breaking. OK thanks, i was just curious
