The minimum you will never get.... its gonna be well below zero but the maximum is about 70'c. Its hard to tell exactly which cpu you have but most 3ghz skt478 800mhz FSB, 1mb L2 cache cpus have a thermal specification of 69.1'c Ideally you want to keep it below 50'c. The prescotts run hot so the high 30's and low 40's (like most P4s run at) might be a bit difficult on stock cooling.
