    could a motherboard in any way damage new ram u put into it?

    i presume you are asking "can i damage my motherboard (M/B) if i add more RAM" basically you would probably need an anti-static wrist strap or touch the case of your computer about every minute while messing inside it (to earth yourself) just be careful choosing which RAM you buy (because it can be confusing choosing the correct type of RAM)

    If you put the RAM in incorrectly or using the wrong RAM type (ie. DDR in a DDR2 slot), yes, but outside of that, there shouldn't be any damage done.
