Mcafee privacy message

I have a security centre with Mcafee and I am getting a message that I need to uninstall and reinstall the privacy part of the system. I did this last year and it was a nightmare but I do have a back up which they say I can use, but I cannot understand the instructions. have you any knowledge of this procedure?

And what is the privacy part of your system?

Sounds like a typical bloated AV trying to do more then it's jobs worth. It is usually safe to just ignore it and carry on with your daily life

I say ditch it and install Avast Antivirus
