i want to get together a shopping list for a good media center computer that I can network with my other computers. Want to link up with a pioneer AV media reciever.Have built a couple of PC's, just a little concerned as to the best hook up connections between computer and AV.Is there such a thing as a graphics card with a scart or do I convert(there is a Dsub ockect on front of AV (labeled PC--is this a clue?) I will want a digital tuner so I can use as PVR. My AV system has panasonic DVD/HDD recorder but it only has analogue tuner making the recording of other channels tricky(can be done as long as they are on screen) Any suggestions for my shopping list would be welcome. uhm.... *clueless* i would recomend using a AMD Geode or VIA Processor, and they can be passively cooled (no fans) thats my 2 cents
