memory card reader

I have a 6 in 1 card reader which came with my mesh computer. The card reader worked fine until now...
When i put any type of card in the relevent reader it wont autoplay, and if i try to access the drive through my computer it says "E: is not accessable, Incorrect function". I have also tried removing the reader from the devices list and reinstalling the drivers which didnt help. PLEASE HELP! :(
 
Im guessing the reader still works on other computers?

What Version of windows are you using?? You shouldnt have to install drivers for NT/2000/XP etc as they recognise the device as a 'Mass Storage Device'

Yeah the device works in other computers, I am using windows XP home edition, i deleted the driver and let windows automatically install it again, just something i tried to eliminate possible problems.
