Hi People hope you can help, Have an Asrock 775Dual - 880Pro motherboard and after reading the motherboard book decided to put in 2 x 1gb sticks of ddr2 memory 667Mhz (PC2 5300) in a dual channel configuration. When i checked the bios although the memory is recognised and the dual channel implimented, each stick of memory is only recognised as a 512 and not a 1gb. Any ideas as to what could cause this and how to fix it would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance
Flashed the bios and it picked up the correct amount of memory straight away. Just incase anyone else comes up against this
