mixed clock speeds

    Hello; my motherboard will take (4) 1gb memory modules at max 800mhz, i have at the moment (2) 1gb 667mhz modules, can i put (2) 1gb 800mhz next to them in the same channel. Thanks

    Welcome to HWF :)

    This is indeed possible. All memory modules will use the speed of the slowest module. So in this case, ALL modules will then run at 667 MHz (also the 800 MHz ones).
