...I'm getting offered 1gig (2x 512) of Corsair RAM (pc3200 I think) for only £60 as this guy is selling up his store.

I currently have 1gig of Kingston ValueRAM dual channlled.

I know that dual channeling different RAM doesn't work/screws up/whatever, but will having 1gig of kingston and one of corsair be a problem?

I need to know before 5ish, GMT, so a quick response greatly appreciated!

    Thanks. :good:

sorry its too late but i don't think that dual channelling will work because the ram could be have different timings etc. That won't stop you from using them together just not dual channel.

    thanks.

on the start up screen it reads "2048Mb Dual Channlled RAM, Linear Mode".

So it looks like it worked all ok. Thanks.
