I don't think there is a such a thing since AMD and Intel use different socket types for their own CPU's.
I know about the socket's dimensions, but I was wondering actually of a kind of let's say portable chipset. I know it's feasable but why such thing doesn't exist yet ? I got another question please bare with me. Who are the key leader of chipset manufacturing ?
leading chipsets are: Intel and Nvidia Nforce. They are currently the best two on the market, but personally I would choose intel, find them more stable and run alot cooler than Nforce.
