    hi ;)
i just bought a msi neo2-pls 865pe mobo. my question is what are the benefits of having dual memory chipset? and also can i mix 1x512 and a 1x128mb (both pc2700) to get dual channel or do i have to get another stick of 512. thanks

The advantage is extra bandwith to the P4. The P4 loves memory bandwith, so DC is a good thing. Yes, for dual channel you have to have 2x of the same sticks. Same brand, too. You'd be best to look at a dual-channel memory kit. I hear GeiL is pretty good and doesn't break the bank.

I'd agree with that; Geil is good as well as inexpensive. Muskin is also a good choice for dual-channel, or Corsair if it's on sale. ;)
