I have the ASUS P4S266-VX mobo from sonys vaio pc's. i wanted to upgrade the case because this one is a bit to small for me and i have added a lot of things. The front usb connectors on the mobo go like this, XXXXXXXX (2nd row) XXXXXXXX. The bottom row has plugs from the pci slot down listed ( left to right) red white black black red white black black. The top row is empty. the new case has a 2x6 connection format with a different layout. How can i plug this one in?

I've had a simelar problem to this before, I've had to re-arrange the connectors to fit different mobos.

I'd look very carefully at your mobo's manual to identify which individual cable needs to be connected to which pin, and then re-arrange them so it fits properly.

I think I used this site as a reference.

    Hope this helps :)
