the montior is flickering because the end of the cable that plugs into the graphics cards is acting up. Some times only green is displaced or red. Is this repairable? If so what place would i call, I know if its a tv you would call a TV repair shop.

    Thanks

If you're able to detach the cable from the monitor itself, get a new one. If not, try the monitor with a different video card to make sure it's the monitor. If it's still under warranty, check with whoever made it.

Good advice from Big B. The most common cause for this symptom is a shorted monitor cable. Unfortunately, the cable is usually permanently attached to the monitor. If that is the case it's definately not worth your time or money to try and fix the problem. Monitor replacement is the prudent solution.
