i've got a headache

let me explain:

just when you think you know a lot, you see a signpost that tells you that there is a sh1t load more stuff to learn (e.g. no-ip)

please do not try learning about networking unless you think your ready because unless your ready you won't understand what your learning, and if you don't understand all the acronyms and terms used you won't fully understand it

it's bl**dy annoying, but, it keeps minds active, so go with the flow

I've just accepted that i will never know everything about tech, and i just decide what i want to learn / do.

Having a list of things you want to achieve works quite well, but don't set targets like "learn C++" because how much C++ do you have to learn to *know* C++? Instead set targets like "write a calculator in C++".

Yeah, the more you learn, the more things you realise you don't know.

I do what Impotence does - set myself targets like "Make X using Y." instead of just "Learn Y." - having a target like that helps you learn, but helps you give what you learn a practical application.

Like when I wanted to learn about the setTimeout() function in JavaScript I wrote a stopwatch: Simple Javascript Stopwatch

Also having a target means when you achieve what you set out to do you have a feeling of satisfaction - as opposed to just thinking "Oh look, I know Y - now what to do with it..."
