The hardware I'm looking to use is a newly aquired AMD X2 4200 (would have liked the 4400... but the 4200 was free ), and the ATI X1900XT (can't argue with the discount I'll be getting). Now I don't plan on using duel video cards because in my mind by the time the cards come down enough in price to make me want to think about buying another one to help beef up my system the games I'll be looking to play will be utilizing techonology not available on what would then be an older card, so I just don't see the advantage.

Now one of my main questions lies in this, should I be going with the nforce 4 chipset that I'm told is so great (even with an ATI card?) or should I go with something that has an ATI chipset? regardless of which chipset, what would be the best mobo to go with?

Now I live in Canada so please don't tease me with an online retailer that doesn't cater towards my little area of the world. Idealy I don't want to spend much over $200 on my mother board if I don't have to. I have definite plans to purchas a Physics Processing Card when I need one so that upgradability is important (PCI 1X I believe?). Cooling is an obvious concern although I don't plan on over clocking, and for the life of me right now (its late sorry) I can't think of anything else that I should be looking for in a mother board, so please lend me any advice you may have to give.

    I'll keep in touch.

I cant recomend a specific board..... as i have never been in that situation, i can however vouch for microdirect boards, as they tend to have pleanty of features at a very nice price!
