I have a laptop. Its model is Acer Aspire 7740g 6969. Till yesterday night it was working fine, but since today morning, it has stopped working. When I plug in for charging, the power button keeps coming on and off. Screen is not coming up at all. Initially I though , it may be charger or battery issue, but when I got it, checked it, was fine. Then I thought it is hard drive issue, but technician at the store told me that , if its hard drive issue then screen will come up. But since there is no video coming up, it looks like mother board issue. So does it look like mother board issue or something else ? Are there any other issues possible that I can check first ? How can I check by myself ? I dont want to spend $50 for only diagnosis, if I can do it. Where can I buy mother board, if thats the problem ? I tried looking on eBay, but could not find anything there ? Is there a place, where I can buy after market or used mother board ? Thanks.
