MP3 error

MiCrO$oFt $uK$ :D
My Mp3 player / usb stick has got an unusual problem, i dunno whats caused it, but i can no longer access the drive or even format it.

The error i am getting is:

i:\ is not accesible The request could not be performed because of an I/O Desvice error.

I have tried using Disk Managment, still not able to do it, Maybe there is some software that can reciver it?, the computer detects the drive and gives it power, if i turn it on with its battery, it keeps saying it needs formatting and then just turns off :(.

***Edit**** I kept the Mp3 player in the USB port, i had to restart the computer for app, and i noticed that the computer crashed at the bios screen, i reset the cmos, same things..., i took out the Mp3 player, and it booted up fine :s

Any help would be really good.

Thanks

It happned with my computer some time ago when my HDD had bad sectors.... It doesnt boots to windows or take hell lots of time.

Try Chkdsk command with your drive....

No it doesent require software.

I have tried it with 3 other computers, still does not work.

I tried to format the drive with cmd, i typed format :j and i got an error message saying : Error in IOCTL Call :s, my drive must be dead, i mean at boot, i take usb stick out, it starts booting, i plug it back in, bios freezes, take it out, unfreezes and so on....
