Hi I am looking for a programme that will convert files to mp3s so that I can put more on one cd. But I also want to be able to know which album I am playing, so I need something that I can name the files and when the cd plays it I know what I am playing, If you get my drift. I need to be able to organise the mp3s. any Ideas thanks Cas
Here's a free converter: Free Audio Pack Before converting to MP3 you can select the bit rate for your audio files. The higher the bit rate the better the sound quality. However, this will also produce larger files. Good quality songs range from a 128-256 bit rate. Anything lower wouldn't sound good. So convert the songs you want to a 128 bit rate. It should allow you to put 20 songs in there. Test out 96 and 64 bit rates they might sound OK depending on your ear. As for the naming you have to edit the ID3 tags. Right click on a song and select properties. It will be in the details tab. Change the names as desired. When you burn an audio CD, the names of the files won't appear like you named them. Your going to see names like "Audio track 1, 2, 3, etc..."
