To quote the great Dave Barry "I am not making this up." So...LOTR might not've been totally made up, perhaps?
Mr. Baggins, as in Bilbo Baggins, protagonist in J.R.R. Tolkien's immortal "The Hobbit". You're telling me you've never read The Hobbit or its follow-up epic trilogy, "The Lord Of The Rings"? It's a modern classic by one of the best authors of the last century, you should give it a read! Oh yeah, there's movies too.
I saw the first two movies...but I've never read the books .it never clicked in "LOTR"..thought it might be another computer term...still don't know what BigB was trying to say..?
The thing that they found they've dubbed the Hobbit. Frodo Baggins is a Hobbit...I think the whole thing might not click if you're not familiar with the LOTR films, or better yet, the books.
maybe I don't get the same news as you do Big B...whereever you may be...but I still don't know what this "thing" is or where they found it did they dig up a 2000 year old frozen midget if you like reading about adventure stories like LOTR..I know a true life adventure story that should be rather appealing to you...if you're British like Sniper :good: I , myself come from a Keltic ancestry... :beer:which is one of the reasons I read it Caesar wrote of his invasions of england and his first encounters with the native people...he called them picts because they shaved all the hair on their bodies, and painted themselves blue...it's an interesting read about a real adventure
