multimonitor using onboard graphics

    hey, ive heard that you need 2 graphics card to use 2 monitors but i ahve recently bought a second graphics card to replace the 32mb onboard graphics but to use 2 monitors can i use the new graphics card and the onboard graphics??

    Unless your motherboard specifically says it supports dual graphics cards using an on-board video chip as well as a graphics card then no you can't. Although depending on what card you bought you can have dual monitors with that. What card did you buy?

    If it has a VGA socket and a DVI socket then you prolly can. (allthough having dual monitors off a 64 mb card will prolly make it slow/choppy)
