    Hi folks,

Im wanting to get some music mixing software so i can mix some of my own material.

After googling 'mixing software' i have found a rather broad range of available software and would like to minimise this extensive list into a few that i can look at. So if anyone knows of any good ones it would be apprieciated.

Preferably FREE or maybe a trial version.

    Thanks.

You can mix music with any sequencer.

Sonic Foundry do a free version of acid which will probably be the best sequencer your gonna get for free.
ACIDplanet.com brought to you by Sony Media Software

Ive only ever used acid pro but im sure they will include the most basic Acid Pro features into Acid Express which should be all you need. Tone volumes and volume envelopes. Its limited to 10 tracks which is plenty. Besides if you have more just export the first 10 as a wave or mp3 then open it as one track in a new project.

You'll have the hang of it in minutes its dead easy to use.
