Hi im new here and forgive my bad english. I just want to make some questions regarding a TV Tuner card i have. It's a Kozumi ktv-01C with a bt878 chip. The thing is that i really get bad picture from it with cable signal. I think the coaxial cable is not bad since i plugged it to a TV Set and the image is fine, but when i plug it to the tv-card the image is bad with distorded horizontal lines crossing and the more i increse the channels the worst they see. I have to mantion that i keep touching the ground? i mean not the one that it is most inside (i hope i can explain well) of the tv provider cable and then i touch my PC case and there is some discharge of voltage (i can feel it). The courious thing is that when i disconnect the source from the AC and my UPS switch to his own battery to provide the AC voltage this phenomenom does not happen. So, i tought "there is Static discharge that entered trought the card coaxial connector and it broked my card", so that's why the bad picture. I have to mention too that when a SMS is going to "enter" to my cell phone my pc speakears start buzzing and when i plug them to AC line being disconnected they always make a sound of "boom". So i keeped away wireless router and took apart the spekears, but the problem perssisted. Then i said "there must be some electrical equipment in the house that is unbalancing voltage". I unplugged i think the more important things: the refrigerator, the microwave and the clothe wash mahine and the problem didnt solved. My questions are simple: - Is my card broken? - Some other things that could be interfering? - I redead the sticky post of CRT vs LCD. I have a LCD 8ms. Can there be a problem of frame rate so it dont display well? Thanks in advance.
