Hi everyone. I just shutdown my computer and went to start it up again and it turned on for a couple of seconds not enough to show a display then shut off. My power switch has no effect on anything. I unplugged the power supply and plugged it back in and the same thing. I have an Asus motherboard m2n deluxe with a amd 4200+ 600 watt p/s. nvidia vid card. Also my system has been up and running for well over 6 months with no issues like this. Also I've taken everything out of the computer where it was just motherboard, processor, and ram and plugged it back in and i got the same thing it powered on right away without pressing power button for about 3 seconds then shut off again. I've also tried a different power supply and same thing .any help would be awesome thank you very much

Hello, make sure you have all components "snapped" firmly in place. Otherwise, it sounds like your motherboard or power supply have gone 6 feet under- so to speak. Does it make any sounds? Beeps etc...?

Maybe you had a problem with your switch in your CPU cabinet.Yesterday I too faced similar problems. All I did was to remove my RAM and then place it back firmly.Make sure the connections aren't lose.In case of digital and integrated circuits proper and firm connections are a must or you never know what is in store.
