I have just bought an second hand lian li server case and i am going to be modding this. With me being only 17 years of age so not much (hardly any lol) experience with case modding i was prepared to mod this. My plans for the case is to create the blowhole (which ive done below), paint it a black mirror gloss effect, replace all the fans, add some other cool gadgets etc.

Below is a pic of before the blowhole. Notice you can see the holesaw im going to use (please click on the link below)

Then after some hard effort and time, the blowhole... (please click on link)

I would like to hear your comments on the blowhole. There is a scratch next to the grill on the case but that doesn't bother me as its going to be sanded anyways.

Closeup of blowhole. The fan i used is a thermaltake with blue leds and rpm sensor.

That's got a really nice finish! Well done!! :good:

Mine's a Shame, I've got huge scratch marks around the fan grill - so I guess it needs a paint job :x:

That's a good place to start, and it looks nice. Before you do any painting, you might want to have any and all cuts done with.

Good luck on the modding adventure. It's a blast.
