i have a : Gigabyte 7n400 PRO2 Nforce 2 Motherboard which i brought bout 2 weeks back, just wondering, will this motherboard be able to support more than pc3200 at any time?

i was unable to find any 32bit supporting motherboards that went higher for AMD ??

The XP3200+ is the fastest Socket A CPU that's going to be released as far as I can tell. If, and this is highly unlikely, AMD actually does release a faster Socket A chip, you might need a BIOS flash to recognize it correctly.

For the memory: Sure, you can use something faster than PC3200, but that RAM tends to be useful more for the P4 overclockers.

If AMD does release something 32-bit, it looks like Socket 754 could be the value version.
64-bit is nice, but so what if you're not gonna use a 32-bit OS.

Well at equal clockspeed, the athlon 64 is faster than the athlon XP.

Also, the athlon 64 is moving to a new socket (939), so you have the same issue on both platforms.
