The original engine was a 1.6 8v, it now has a 1.8 16v bottom end - refurbished with a 2.0 litre head that has been polished and ported.
When i say ported and polished, this is just a summary of the work carried out by TSR Performance who stripped, rebuilt and tuned the bottom & top end.
Its been gas flowed and fitted with new phosphor bronze valves, bigger valves, new Karl Schmidt pistons, new oil seals, 40.5mm inlet valves, the head is a stage 5 TSR head, the bottom end is stage D.
The car was rolling roaded with @ 169bhp, it's also since had a new exhaust system & 4-2-1 supersprint manifold & cold air feed added.
