I have a Cool-it Vantage a.l.c, and it has a lcd screen on it that says the Cpu is on 30 degrees c. But in CoreTemp it says it is on 50 degrees. What can be the reason, and how do i fix this problem?

my pc specs are: Intel i5 760
    Asus P7P55D-E LX
    Kingston, ValueR 4gb
    Gainward GTS 450
with Windows 7 64bit home premium

Quick research suggests, the LCD screen reports the temperate of the liquid rather then the CPU.
