Name that tune

Okay, here's how it goes: first poster posts some lyrics from a song. The next guy tries to guess the song and artist and then posts some lyrics for the next person to guess. The third person follows what the second guy did, etc.

I'll start:

If it's not between 1962 and 1975 I haven't got a clue...can you give hints ( eg. 1980's )...? I'll come back later n' delete my post so as to not break the chain you're trying to create... :good:
