In what seems to be the latest craze of massive online storage, a company called Streamload will be offering 10GB of free online storage space starting Monday. Users of the free 10GB service will only be permitted to download 100MB a month and can only upload files of 100MB at a time. The company also offers plans with more space and less restrictions for a monthly fee. Streamload allows its customers to share files which are stored on the system and indicates that they have safeguards in place to prevent sharing of pirated music, movies and software.

Yeah looked nice until you get to the part about only 100 meg file uploads and 100 meg downloads a month. If it wasn't for that it would be a nice additional emergency backup source.

It's a good idea, i think it will attract alot of online developers and developing teams, server-side.. such as Perl / Cold Fusion e.t.c

When it comes to online storage or backup, I would suggest going for a reliable service which is operational for years. Free services may put off the service or the free offer at any time and you may end up paying to retrieve your own data.

We use this online storage service for years, it is reliable and affordable when compared to other services of its kind.

Hey that's really cool! I've been looking for something like this for awhile. I used to use XDrive when it was completely free.

[ot] It's called MediaMax - That's the name of the company (or software) that Sony used in it's CDs isn't it? [/ot]

Email storage space cannot be utilized as an effective file backup service.

This online backup service has wide range of products which helps you to backup/ restore your data securely and easily. All you need to do is select some files, save it as a backup set and schedule it for regular backup. It has easy wizards which will guide you through the process.
