Hello everybody. I've been screwing around (literally) with my MBP 3,1 (2007) and came across 2 pieces of a component I cannot identify. (see attachment for pic) Size is approx 1 cm. One of them is located on the I/O board next to the magsafe connector, the other one is located on the logic board on the opposite side of the notebook. Both are usually covered by transparent plastic. I'm guessing they're some kind of sensors, but fail to imagine what they could be monitoring. Any hints would be appreciated.
