    Hi,
    I recently purchased the following:
    ECS 848P-A7 LGA 775 MOTHERBOARD
    INTEL P4 PROCESSOR 506,LGA 775
    1 GB DDR 3200 RAM
    SEAGATE HARD DRIVE
    EMPREX DVD WRITER 16X
    450 WATTS POWER SUPPLY UNIT

    THE PROBLEM:
I have connected evrything correctly exactly like the rest of the PCs I have assembled, but this machine I have some trouble.

The motherboard boots for abt 10 to 25 seconds and dies.

I have exchanged the motherboard and proccessor 3 times already and think it is not the problem.

    Please advice....:(

    Thnaks,

    ASIANHAWK

Make sure you have the CPU HSF mounted securely and have the fan plugged in.
Also make sure your Video Card is secure in it's slot :)

What do you mean by "boots for 10 - 25 seconds"?
Do you get any display on the screen? Do you get any other activities in these 25 seconds? After 25 seconds what happens? Any fans spinning while and/or after?

What brand power supply have you got. Could be the problem if its a poor quality unit.
