Need help urgent!! .NET messenger problems

Hi,
I need some help iv just completed building a pc. iv installed windows xp home edition yet when i try to activate it saids "Cannot establish a connection." Yet when i go to internet explorer i can browse as normal. Same for when i try to sign into msn messenger and windows messenger and iv reinstalled it yet same happens.

Plz i need help urgent!!

How do you connect to the internet? (do you have a modem or a router?)

Something else to check is that you havnt blocked access for whatever runs when you try to validate (check your firewall)

 

Or just ring them up, not as quick, but still might turn out to be easier.

 

lol.....I tried this long time ago......It takes ages to finish the process in this way........First you have tell such a long number then they will tell you a very long number to enter.
