Need some advice from u expert guys (= Right now i have a Pentium 4 2.6 Ht, MoBo MSI 875P NEO, 2x 512 Kingston DDR400 RAM, 1 ATA hd 60Gb, Geforce 6800 Ultra Agp 8x VGA, Soundboard Creative Platinium. (this whole system, but the VGA is likely 2 years old) Recently i bought BF2 and its expansion Special Forces. I'm running the game on Medium Specs and 1024 x 780 reso, not cos i wanted lol and the game still takes damn long to load the maps and still have some bad fps sometimes (more on te first 3 mins of each map). So i was thinking about Upgrading... case is i bought this VGA last year , paid a hell lot of money for it and don't want to just throw it away, so i can't really go to the new great Mobo's and etc cos of PCI-Ex. My dilema.... Just get me 2x 1Gb Corsair Ram and substitute mine (think i can't run those 2 plus my 2 512 cads for a total of 3Gb, can i? something about dual something keeps me from doing it, right?) and a pair of 160 Gb Sata hds, plug them with Raid 0 and be happy with this until next year when i can then change my VideoCard and buy a state of Art Mobo and Processor. or... Buy a new Mobo, can't get the top ones cos they won't have agp slot, some seller pointed me to a Asus A8V Deluxe, get a good Processor like a Athlon 4.400 X2, plus the Ram and the Hds and have a bigger improvement (tho i'd like if any of you could tell me how Big it'd be) and then next year get only a state of art Mobo with a new PCI Express Video card. Problems are hehehhe damn, there's always problems d= If i don't buy a State of Art Mobo it won't accept Sata II, i'm almost sure about that, so I'd be buying 2 Big Hds but Sata I only, would that be a problem? Such a big sink performance wise? Same thing for the RAM it's DDr400, but i read something about DDR2 or a something like that... Oh well so many options so lil money d= Anyway i have the money to pay for this things right now, just can't afford to get all those things PLUS another high end video card pci express... So my only thing is that i'd like to keep the one i got for 1 more year. Hope any kind soul can help me d= Know te post is long and sucks but u guys are nice dd= Happy New year!
