Need Help With The VGA

    well i just formatted my laptop
    and i don't have the backups
    i need to find the vga type to download it
    on the laptop there is a nvidia stickers , so i opened my laptop to try to find the vga type , nothing nvidia on it
    any help?
    how can i know the type to install it

    well, what kind of laptop do you have - dell, HP, Acer ... ? then there should be the model number on the laptop, too. and with that info you can go to the respective manufacturer's web site and find out what vga that model may have (there's usually versions with ATI, Nvidia and Intel VGAs)

    my laptop is Hp Pavilion dv8000
    i tried to download the graphic driver from hp.com , but still nothing worked

    and thnx for your help

    what about windows update? maybe the driver will get updates from there.
