Is this possible? I would like to leave my cpu, printers, scanners, etc. in a room upstairs and control it all with my keyboard, mouse, and monitor downstairs?

Could I use usb wireless adapters to create a network? I would have to use a usb to xga adapter to convert my monitor to usb.

    Has anyone ever done this?

Do you mean using 1 computer to control another?

No, It's just one computer. I want to be able use the monitor, mouse and keyboard to control the computer from a different part of the house.

You could possilby get away with a wireless mouse and keyboard in a different room, but a monitor is out of the question, I'm afraid.

You can control one computer with another computer using software like TightVNC, but things like 3D games or movies are out of the question, I'm afraid.
