    Hi friends,

Is there a limit in a peer-to-peer network with XP Home??

I did a research and found that XP Home only accepts up to 5 PCs in a peer-to-peer network. I just can thin in two solutions but I still have doubts.

1- Upgrade to XP Professional. Do you know if XP Pro has any limmit in p2p netwoprks?

2- Separate the network in two small networks with up to 5 PCs each using the router as a gateway. Do you think this is gonna work?

    Any help appreciated.

Windows XP Home & Professional will accept 10 simultaneous connections only. It does not matter where you place the clients. If you need to allow more client connections, you will have to invest in a Microsoft Server product
