Hi, i am thinking of taking the DVD-RW out of my main rig coz it would reduce clutter, now i still want to use it, so if i put the CD-RW in my server computer, would i be able to somehow network the drive so that i can use it with both of my other computer as if it was in them, so i stil a blank cd or dvd into the drive, go to my main computer, and burn something on it, is this possible?
Well, you can simply share it on the network. Like any other folder/drive. And it will be accessible. But I don't know wether you can burn with it via network. Also, you can use Remote Desktop from your computer (if the server's Win2003 or XP), but for that burning software should be installed on the target PC.
