This morning, I turned my desktop on, like I usually do. However this time, I gtoa "Limited or No Connectivity" alert on my desktop. Last night I was having no problems with my network connection.

I have a Linksys Wireless-G Router connected to a Comcast Cable Modem. My desktop is wired to the router. I tried several thigns: unplugging the router, unplugging the modem, unplugging both, witching the port that my desktop was plugged into. None of these theories worked. So I tried plugging my laptop into the router with the same cable that was plugging my desktop in. This worked. My Laptop could still access the internet (even after I disabled my Wireless network).

I looked at my desktop, wondering what could be the problem. I thought about it being a motherboard issue, but the lights for the ehternet port on the back would blink at random intervals; making me think that the motherboard was not having any problems.

    Can anyone help me please?
