Networking Possible (Wireless)

I have a broadband Connection on my main computer (downstairs), and my wife has here computer (upstairs) which is not connected to the internet. Iam running xp home on the main computer, and i reformated her's with xp pro although its somewhat slower it still runs it well? (needs more memory) though. I would like to network them (wireless), Ok what do i need?, and how do i set it up ? And what brand of equipment do i need. Iam a novice so can someone walk me through these steps>>>>

For each computer that you want to connect to the network you'll need a wireless network card. Laptops may have one built in, desktops usually don't. For desktops you get them as PCI cards and simply install them.

To share the internet connection and route traffic you'll need a router. A wireless router can be bought for about $40 and you should connect it to your broadband modem via the ethernet port. Then your computers will connect to the network wirelessly.

Good brands are Netgear, D-link, linksys, Belkin will do.
