So it has been awhile since I have built a new computer, it appears much has changed. No more AGP for graphics cards, no more EIDE cable...

So i am a bit behind on tech but after doing some research i came up with these parts, let me know if this sounds good. If all is good my big question is graphics card choice. I am a photographer so i use graphics intense programs and i like to play games mostly FPS. So i want a card that can play most of the latest games very well but will not break the bank. Card budget is around the $160. Any recomendations or is what i picked good. I also checked out the GTX 260 and the Radeon HD 4890, but was not sure improvement justified the price dif.

The only weak link at your setup is the amount of RAM. I would recommend to get at least 4 GB (8 preferred). Most games these days require an estimated 2-3 GB of RAM to run them properly.

For a power supply I'd suggest the Corsair HX750 PSU. Should be plenty :)

A rule of thumb is that cases with a bundled PSU are usually bad quality. A good PSU by itself costs around $100 or more. You could try the bundled PSU and see if it works out for you. In most cases it could cause sudden reboots and freezes, but if that happens you can always purchase a separate PSU :)

Ok i got a corsair 550W PSU will that be enough power for my rig. It was much cheaper than the 750W but still got some good reviews.

Sure, the 550W should be fine for your setup :)
